Rishik Perugu

Hi! I am a graduate student in the department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine. I was previously at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore where I did my Bachelor of Science (Research) and Master of Science from 2019 to 2024.

I am working in condensed matter theory under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Scaffidi. My current research interests are

  • Quantum many-body dynamics
  • Using quantum information tools to understand, classify quantum phases of matter
  • Open quantum systems.
